This King bed frame is made of Cherry. The posts are of the Rice bed design.  The frame is assembled with bedbolts and dowelpins for alignment and stability.

The panels are highly figured cherry (12" wide), cut with a raised panel design and framed by shaped, flat-sawn cherry.

The bed was finished with Cherry Watco to even out the tone of the wood, then additional clear Watco was applied. It was top finished with Olympic waterbourne poly.

The finish was handrubbed to provide a satin sheen over the entire wood surface.
