The Dallas Trinity Rotary
Foundation gives priority
to projects targeting four primary program areas:
- Service Above Self- project that reflect Rotaries commitment to
address humanitarian Issues
- Children and the Families Issues
- Youth Development and Leadership Issues
- Community Development Issues
A general
proposal review criterion includes timeliness, relevance, and significance with
respect to primary program areas. Other factors are:
- Innovation in addressing issues
- Collaboration with other organizations
- Staff ability to bring out intended results
- Evidence of accountability and evaluation
- Targeting of underserved populations
The Dallas Trinity Rotary Club limits the giving to the Stemmons Corridor, Oak Cliff and
Love Field Areas and in general grants are not made for the purpose of:
- Individual scholarships or loans
- Underwriting for charity balls
- Endowment or permanent funds
- Capital or Annual Campaigns
- School sports or bands
- Debt retirement
Applications for
support should include:
- A brief history of the organization and its work.
- A description of the proposed program, uniqueness of program, and
grant levels.
- The project budget
- Specific plans to evaluate the program.
- A list of trustees, directors with business affiliation, and how
often the Board meets.
- The organization’s current, year to date fiscal statements.
- The most recent certified financial audit (if young agency, send
the last fiscal year’s statements)
- The most recent IRS 990 filed
- A copy of the latest verification of tax-exempt status from the
IRS, under Section 170 of the IRS.
Please be as
concise and brief as possible in narrative of your proposal. We accept grant
applications throughout the year; however each organization is limited to one
application within a twelve-month period. Additionally, grant funding to
multi-year grants must be paid in full prior to submitting new funding
requests.
Applications should be returned by Feb 7 with grant awards to follow in the
spring. We review and respond to all grant requests in a thorough and timely
fashion.
